WiseSpot & BroadSoft Shared The Latest FinTech Trends : “Secured Cloud Unified Communications Enabled Financial Services On The Go”

About The Event
September 28, 2017: Part of CAHK’s Business Luncheon Series 2017, this forum focused on cloud-based unified communication & collaboration (UC & C) technology and its deployment as part of businesses’ digital transformation strategies.
Globally, digital natives have become the dominant group of customers across virtually all business sectors, including finance and insurance. Companies are expected to be able to work with their customers anytime and anywhere, with the same efficiency and security as in the privacy of meeting room. Cloud-based UC & C technology has matured immensely over the years to support the secured deployment of innovative digital business models, so that transactions need not be restricted by geographic borders nor time zones.
To share the latest global implementation trends, CAHK invited Mr Iain Lockyer, Associate Vice President Strategic Initiatives (Asia Pacific), of BroadSoft, Inc. (NASDAQ: BSFT), to share their implementation experience with an audience of over 60 guests from Hong Kong’s leading financial, insurance and ICT companies.
Following his address, Mr Lockyer was joined by Mr Brian Lee (Head, Operational, Technology & Treasury Risks Division, Banking Supervision Department, The Hong Kong Monetary Authority) and Mr Sean Seah (Head of Digital Experience, The Hong Kong & Shanghai Banking Corporation Ltd.) in an engaging and informative panel discussion on Secured Cloud UC & C, challenges in its deployment & successful implementations overseas. Mr Kelvin Beadle, BroadSoft’s Vice President Asia was the moderator.
To close, Mr Franky Lai, CAHK’s Vice Chairman as well as WiseSpot’s Chairman and CEO, shared his views on the opportunities and impact that UC & C may have as local businesses steadily embrace digital transformation.
