Maturity in cloud technology and UC & C service has enabled a plethora of innovative and creative applications in answer to recent years’ customer-led digital transformation.
This is particularly apparent in the financial services industry (FSI). Not only have their product & service portfolio grown in complexity in response to changing consumer demand, a majority of transactions between their employees and customers have moved to being conducted either via telephony or digitally online, thereby raising the demand for security features that helps safeguarding against cyber fraud.
From the first operator installation in 2010, our UC & C solution that features Oracle’s session border controller (SBC) as SIP “firewall” is servicing the largest end user subscriber base through Hong Kong’s fixed and mobile service providers. We have also introduced an enterprise version of Oracle’s SBC To several major corporations as additional security between their enterprise communication systems and wide area network services, including SIP trunk connections to the PSTN and the public Internet.
